esi-TREQ Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) takes the privacy of everyone whose personal information we handle seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we use, collect and store personal information.  It should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use.

What personal information do we collect?

We collect the personal information you provide to us when you register to use the Tool and maintain your account. We will also collect any personal information which you include in the information you choose to upload to the Tool, whether about you or any other people.

Any credit card details you provide in connection with your account are sent directly to our third party payment provider, Direct Payment Solutions Limited   

We do not permanently retain your credit card details.

We may also collect technical information whenever you log onto the Tool or visit our public website. This may include information about the way users arrive at, browse through and interact with our site and the Tool. We use this information to have a better understanding of the way people use our site and the Tool, to improve the way they work and to personalise them to be more relevant and useful to your particular needs. We may also use this information to assist in making any advertising we display on the site more personalised and applicable to your interests.

You are not required to provide us with any personal information, although in some cases if you choose not to do so then we will be unable to administer your account or make the Tool available to you. For example, we need to have your account information and technical information about the way you use the site and the Tool in order to provide you with access to the Tool. However, you can choose what personal information (if any) you upload to the Tool as part of any quote information or final quotes.

Information about other people

If you wish to upload any personal information about other people to the Tool, you must first contact them and obtain their consent.

How do we use personal information?

We may use personal information for any of the following purposes:

·      storing, accessing and making information available through the Tool;

·      account administration and billing;

·      making advertising or marketing information available to you through the Tool or the site;

·      contacting you with information or offers about products or services; and

·      operating, maintaining and improving the Tool and our site.

You are in control of the personal information which you upload to the Tool as part of any quote information or final quotes.  We hold such personal information on your behalf and as your agent.

When do we disclose personal information?

Generally, we do not disclose personal information to third parties for them to use for their own purposes. However, some of the circumstances in which we may do this are set out below.

We may disclose personal information to service providers and others working with us to make the Tool and the site available or to improve or develop its functionality. For example, we use Enlighten Design as a third party supplier to host our website and the information stored on the Tool.

We do not retain or store credit card information ourselves. The credit card information and payment details are held and used by Direct Payment Solutions Limited in accordance with its privacy policy. 

If you have any questions or complaints about the use of your credit card details, please contact Direct Payment Solutions Limited directly.

We may also disclose any of the personal information we hold:

·      in relation to the proposed purchase or acquisition of our business or its assets; or

·      where required by applicable law or any court, or in response to a legitimate request by a law enforcement agency.

Your rights
